All door and window security sensors are comprised of two parts together installed adjacent to each other in your house or business. One part of the security device is installed directly on the door or on the window & the other part on the door frame or on the window sill. When a door or window is closed, the two parts of the security sensor are joined together, creating a protection security circuit system monitoring by the security control panel.
